publication · 2026-06-03

Sharjah Art Foundation has launched an open call for Corniche 8, its annual comics anthology, inviting illustrators and comic artists from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to submit proposals for original six-page comics. Selected artists will participate in a three-day creative exchange in Sharjah and have their works published in the printed anthology, set to launch at Focal Point, the foundation's annual art book fair. The deadline for applications is 30 June 2026, 11:59 pm UAE time.
