Seth: From Paris Graffiti to Global Street Art

Seth, born in Paris in 1972, began painting graffiti in the 20th arrondissement in the mid-1990s. After graduating from the École des Arts décoratifs, he worked in advertising, animation, and comics while continuing street art. In 2003, he traveled worldwide to exchange with artists from different cultures. This led to his 2007 book Globe Painter and his role as author and presenter on Canal+'s documentary series Les Nouveaux explorateurs, which explores countries through urban art. Seth's recognizable style focuses on childhood, often depicting faceless children whose innocence contrasts with harsh environments. His vortex motifs symbolize portals to imaginary worlds, inviting viewers to project their own intimate experiences.
