Sense Fracture Premieres 'Drastika' from Debut EP 'Tyrant Sun' on Sounds Of Paimon

Sense Fracture, the project of Birsa Alessandri, has released 'Drastika,' the lead single from the forthcoming EP 'Tyrant Sun,' out October 9th on the newly established label Sounds Of Paimon. The track merges Italian folk traditions—specifically saltarello, tarantella, and pizzica—with Lento Violento, a slow-tempo hardstyle genre pioneered by Gigi D'Agostino in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Alessandri describes the hybrid as 'Saltarello Violento,' combining acoustic instruments like frame drums, tambourines, accordions, and mandolins with heavy basslines and colossal kick drums. The lyrics sample 'I don't need forever,' which Alessandri frames as a rejection of tech oligarchs' talk of 'digital immortality.' The title references Japanese artist Yusuke Kimura, also known as Drastik Adhesive Force. Sense Fracture will perform a b2b DJ set with Piezo on Sunday, September 20th, at Giardino Segreto in Milan. The EP is available for pre-save on Bandcamp.
