Satori, a 41.5-metre hand-built sailing schooner, offers an intimate alternative to large luxury cruise ships. Launched by Jeanette and Claus Thottrup, founders of the Tuscan hotel Borgo Santo Pietro, the yacht channels their philosophy of seclusion and privacy. Typically moored off Capri, Corsica, or the Cyclades, Satori accommodates 10 guests in five cabins, including a master suite and four doubles. The vessel features sustainable materials, a 1920s-inspired aesthetic, and an open kitchen. The Thottrups spent 10 years perfecting the design. The yacht emphasizes slow travel and sensorial engagement with the sea, with itineraries like a meandering route around Elba and Giglio. Crew members serve fresh seafood and house wines from Borgo Santo Pietro.
