Santiago Zabala's 'Signs from the Future' Published in Italian

Italian publisher DeriveApprodi has released the Italian translation of Santiago Zabala's latest book, 'Segni dal Futuro. Per una filosofia dell'avvertimento', translated by Benedetta Antonielli. The original English edition, 'Signs from the Future: A Philosophy of Warnings', was published by Columbia University Press in 2025. Zabala, born in 1975, teaches at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and contributes to various international publications. He has edited works by Richard Rorty and co-authored with Gianni Vattimo, positioning him as a postmodern European thinker. His philosophy, described as a form of mental gymnastics, engages with art and aesthetics while critiquing surveillance capitalism and right-wing populism.
