Sanjay Puri Architects Unveils Cielo Residential Tower in Nagpur with Historical Screen Design

Sanjay Puri Architects has completed Cielo, a 12-story residential building in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. The structure features curved foam concrete screens that reference 17th-century architectural screens and are designed to mitigate extreme heat through passive cooling. Each floor contains a single 270-square-meter apartment with four bedrooms, and the screens, made with 80% recycled materials, extend across two stories to form balconies and shielded spaces. The project addresses local regulations requiring open spaces on all sides of the compact 900-square-meter site.
