San Antonio Museum of Art and Amon Carter Museum Launch Fall Accessibility Programs
From September 26 to October 4, the San Antonio Museum of Art will provide a $2 discount on admission for military personnel and their families as part of Blue Star Welcome Week. This initiative is designed to assist military families in their transition after moving, as part of the Blue Star Families campaign. Additionally, the museum's Free for (F)All program allows free entry on Tuesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and every second Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., thanks to the Art Bridges Foundation. SAMA also takes part in Museums For All, offering $3 admission for families on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. Meanwhile, the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth will present Sensory Explorations: Powerful Patterns on October 10, with prior registration necessary.
