Sam Baron and Tai Ping Present Expanded Botanical Rug Collection at Milan Design Week 2026

Designer Sam Baron and carpet manufacturer Tai Ping have launched the Floræ Folium Series, a ten-piece collection of hand-tufted rugs featuring botanical motifs. The exhibition opens on April 20, 2026, at Tai Ping's Milan showroom in Piazza San Simpliciano during Milan Design Week. This collection expands upon their 2022 experimental project, incorporating new technical elements like stitching alongside traditional tufting. The presentation is designed as an artist's studio to reveal the creative process. The collaboration represents a continued exploration of rugs as artistic canvases rather than mere floor coverings.
