Sally von Rosen's Bronze Sculptures Explore Human Form in Stockholm Exhibition

Sally von Rosen is presenting her first gallery exhibition in Stockholm at Andréhn-Schiptjenko, featuring six bronze sculptures created in 2026. The exhibition, titled 'On Three Legs,' showcases abstract works that depict raw musculature and skeletal forms rather than complete organisms. Von Rosen works in an ancient sculptural tradition that removes excess material to reveal inherent forms. The artist has previously held solo exhibitions in Germany and participated in group shows, including last year's 'Playa!' at Bonniers konsthall. Her sculptures, with their spindly limbs and high centers of gravity, explore themes of physicality and the tension between weight and lightness.
