Saatchi Gallery and V&A Launch Second Edition of Dutch Female Artists Exhibition

exhibition · 2026-03-19

Saatchi Gallery in London will present 'Standing on the Shoulders of Giants II' from November 22, 2025 to January 12, 2026. This exhibition features ten contemporary Dutch female artists creating new works in response to historical pieces from the Victoria and Albert Museum's collection. The collaboration addresses the underrepresentation of women in museum collections, building on the success of the first edition in 2024. Curated by artist Louise te Poele with V&A curators, the exhibition includes paintings, sculpture, digital works, and photography. Programming includes talks and tours at the V&A, with free admission and a suggested donation.
