Russian Theater Director Tatiana Frolova Continues Artistic Work in Exile with 'I'm fine' Production

Tatiana Frolova, founder of the Knam Théâtre company established in 1985 in Komsomolsk-on-Amur in Russia's Far East, has continued her theatrical work while living in exile following Russia's 2022 invasion of Ukraine. The independent theater collective, which originated during the period preceding the Soviet Union's collapse, has transformed the experience of displacement into artistic material for its latest production titled 'I'm fine'. Frolova's company left Russia after the conflict began and now explores themes of living physically in one place while mentally remaining elsewhere.
