Russian Artist from Urals Steel Town Selected for Seattle Art Fair 2026
Alina Khafizova, a 21-year-old artist hailing from Asha, a small steel town in Russia's Chelyabinsk Region, will display her art at the 2026 Seattle Art Fair. Remarkably, eleven out of the twelve Russian artworks featured in TERAVARNA's exhibition are hers. Alina has loved drawing since she was a child and works with a range of mediums, including gouache, watercolor, pencil, oil, and digital art. Furthermore, her brother, Marsel' Khafizov, is a professional artist who belongs to the Union of Artists of Russia, and their father also dabbled in drawing when he was younger.
