Rollins Museum of Art Forms National Advisory Task Force Ahead of 2028 Building

A National Advisory Task Force has been established by the Rollins Museum of Art at Rollins College, timed to the museum's planned move into a new purpose-built facility in 2028. Frederick Fisher and Partners is the firm responsible for the building's design. The task force's mandate covers guidance on the opening of the new facility and on early programming. Leslie Anne Anderson, who holds the title Bruce A. Beal Executive Director at RMA, chose the members, citing how closely their expertise aligns with the institution's strategic vision. The appointees come from museum and arts roles across the country. Rita Adler, based in Aspen, CO, and Winter Park, FL, is among them. Barbara Alfond of Weston, MA, is also a member. Janalee Emmer, PhD, Director of the Brigham Young University Museum of Art in Provo, UT, joins the group. Beth Finch, PhD, Director of Research and Communications at the Terra Foundation for American Art in Chicago, IL, is another appointee. Saisha Grayson, PhD, Curator of Time-Based Media at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC, is also on the task force. The group will act in an advisory capacity as the museum readies its new home and the programming that will accompany it.
