Rolf and Mette Hay Open Their Copenhagen Home to Wallpaper* for Design Collection Film
Wallpaper* gained exclusive access to the modernist residence of Rolf and Mette Hay, the founders of the Danish design brand Hay, located just outside Copenhagen. Featured in the magazine's series The Stuff That Surrounds You, the couple, who established Hay in 2002, have adorned their home with cherished design pieces. Among Mette's favorites is an Alessi calculator designed by George Sowden, along with several works by Achille Castiglioni, including a 'Sella' stool gifted by her father. Their collection also includes a 'Rey' chair by Bruno Rey, a Charles and Ray Eames 'LCW' chair, and an 'Amanta' armchair by Mario Bellini. Hay boasts over 20 stores worldwide, with items available at Selfridges and MoMA. The film was directed by Sebastian Jordahn.
