Robinhood Launches Chain Mainnet, Stock Tokens, AI Trading, and DeFi Suite Globally

Robinhood has announced a major product expansion including the public launch of Robinhood Chain, a Layer-2 blockchain built on Arbitrum, designed for tokenized real-world assets and DeFi applications. The company also introduced Stock Tokens, allowing users in over 120 countries to trade tokenized equities 24/7 on Robinhood Chain, with utility in lending and collateral. Robinhood Earn, a decentralized lending product integrated into the main app for eligible U.S. customers, offers ~7% yield on USDG stablecoins via the Morpho protocol, with insurance from Lloyd's of London and RELM. AI-powered trading expands with Agentic Accounts for crypto, enabling automated strategies within user-set limits. Perpetual futures are now accessible through decentralized exchange Lighter, with European customers gaining access to commodities, ETFs, and forex contracts up to 10x leverage. The company now serves nearly 28 million customers across 38 countries, plans to launch crypto trading in the UK, entered Canada via WonderFi acquisition, and secured a Capital Markets Services licence in Singapore. Partners include Uniswap, Pleiades, Alchemy, BitGo, Chainlink, Steakhouse, Ethena, Spark, and Maple.
