Robilant and Voena Founders Split After 22 Years to Launch Separate Family Galleries

After 22 years together, Edmondo di Robilant and Marco Voena have ended their partnership, leading to the closure of Robilant + Voena gallery and the formation of Robilant and Voena. Their offspring will take on key positions: Michele di Robilant as the gallery director at Robilant, concentrating on contemporary initiatives, and Edoardo Voena as the gallery director, with Virginia Voena serving as sales director at Voena. Robilant will be based in London, while Voena will operate from its Milan location and a new site in London, having shuttered its New York gallery. Both galleries are set to participate in art fairs, with Voena making its first appearance at Art Monte-Carlo in late April and Tefaf New York next month, while Robilant will showcase at Nomad Hamptons in June. This division follows years of independent registrations, with Robilant Fine Art established in 2013 and Voena Fine Art in 2015.
