Robert Vano retrospective at Czech Centre London showcases platinum prints

The Czech Centre in Notting Hill, London, will host a major retrospective of photographer Robert Vano this June. The exhibition spans Vano's career from the 1980s to the present, with a focus on the 1990s. It features over 50 photographs divided into three sections: fashion editorials for magazines in New York, Paris, and Milan; dramatic stills of Prague; and black-and-white male nude portraits developed using platinum printing, a rare technique. Vano is known as a master of platinum printing and a pioneer of male nude photography. The show highlights his globetrotting career and pursuit of artistic freedom.
