Rick Nielsen's Guitar Collection Heads to Julien's Auctions for St. Jude Benefit

Julien's Auctions has partnered with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Rick Nielsen, the songwriter and guitarist known for Cheap Trick, to present "The Rick Nielsen Collection," a benefit sale drawn from his personal archive of guitars, cars, stage-worn wardrobe, awards and other items. Scheduled for October 24, the auction will raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization the rocker has described as close to his heart. Bidding takes place live and in person at the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum, housed in the Historic Nashville Municipal Auditorium. Registration to bid is open through Julien's Auctions. Assembled over more than five decades, Nielsen's collection reflects a lifelong passion for guitars and collecting, and the sale is billed as a rare opportunity to see inside the holdings of one of rock's most beloved and entertaining guitarists. Among the highlights are instruments that helped shape his unmistakable sound and style, alongside personal pieces gathered throughout his career. The event combines a landmark auction of music memorabilia with a charitable purpose, directing proceeds to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
