Following an undercover probe, two high-ranking advisers to Nigel Farage have resigned from Reform UK after allegations surfaced that the party might have facilitated foreign funding for opinion polls. The Labour Party has called for a police investigation into these claims. The inquiry, which was revealed by Channel 4 at the start of Reform's annual conference, suggested that two prominent members arranged for a US firm to pay over £30,000 (US$40,586) for three polls commissioned by the party, potentially violating UK laws against foreign donations. Reform has denied any misconduct, claiming it was targeted by a hoax by climate activists. The undercover team from Verbatim posed as affluent American donors with ties to Britain, engaging with Reform officials for a year, including a lunch with Farage.
