Recycledin Launches Eco Poker Chips Made from Mediterranean Plastic Waste

Recycledin has introduced a poker set crafted entirely from recycled plastic collected from Mediterranean seas, landfills, and beaches. Each set repurposes approximately 2.5 kilograms of plastic that would otherwise pollute natural environments. The material undergoes cleaning and melting before being molded into smooth, lightweight discs matching the size of professional casino chips. A complete set includes 300 chips in five colors, with additional special chips for dealer, small blind, and big blind roles. Designed for up to seven players, these items are made to order to minimize overproduction. By utilizing repurposed plastic, the initiative aims to reduce waste, protect marine life, and lower demand for new plastic manufacturing. Environmental studies indicate this approach can decrease greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption compared to producing virgin plastic. Recycledin also pairs the chips with eco-edition Bicycle cards made from recycled paper to further address paper waste. The company positions this as potentially one of the world's first poker sets manufactured completely from recycled plastic.
