Rebecca Horn Retrospective Showcases Kinetic Sculptures at German Sculpture Park

Skulpturenpark Waldfrieden is currently hosting a major solo exhibition dedicated to German artist Rebecca Horn. Titled 'Rebecca Horn: Emotion in Motion,' the presentation features a substantial collection of her large-scale installations and kinetic sculptures spanning four decades. This retrospective highlights the multifaceted and multimedia practice of Horn, recognized as a significant figure in 20th-century German art. The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Moontower Foundation, an organization established by Horn in 2007 to oversee the preservation and promotion of her artistic legacy. The foundation's primary objectives include supporting artists and ensuring Horn's body of work remains accessible to the public. The artist was born in Michelstadt, located in the Odenthal area of southwestern Germany. The exhibition opened recently at the sculpture park, offering visitors an extensive look at her influential career.
