Rebecca Grone, 11:11 Media Director, Pushes Deepfake Porn Bill with Paris Hilton

Rebecca Grone, 31, serves as the director of impact at 11:11 Media, an advocacy organization established by Paris Hilton and Bruce Gersh. She played a key role in the passage of the bipartisan federal Stop Institutional Child Abuse Act, which mandates government oversight of youth residential programs. Currently, Grone is awaiting Congressional decisions on the Defiance Act of 2026, which would permit victims of deepfakes to file lawsuits against their abusers; this act has already received unanimous approval from the Senate. Starting her career in acting and documentary production, she has crafted impact campaigns, including for Hilton's documentary 'This Is Paris.' Over the past six years, Grone has translated Hilton's experiences into actions that have influenced around 20 state laws and two federal laws aimed at protecting youth. Amanda Nguyen, founder of Rise and a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, nominated her for CULTURED's 2026 Young Activists list. Grone resides in Los Angeles.
