Raza Zahid's Morphosis Installation Transforms Recycled Paper into Living Architectural System
Designer Raza Zahid has created Morphosis, an experimental installation that converts discarded paper into a living spatial structure. The work occupies a 5×5×5 meter volume in Lahore, Pakistan, commissioned by the Institute of Architects, Pakistan for IAPEX 25. Using papercrete—a material derived from shredded paper—the installation forms branch-like components supported by metal frames, creating a porous environment that hosts growing microgreens.
