Ramos Alderete Studio creates immersive Relax Room for Omnicom Media Group

architecture-design · 2026-04-10

The Relax Room, created by Ramos Alderete Studio, repurposes two meeting rooms at Omnicom Media Group into a space designed for relaxation and casual interactions. The design incorporates curved shapes, specialized lighting, and sound-absorbing materials. A hidden structural column helps define the area, complemented by a window that provides natural light. Acoustic panels minimize outside noise, while a sealed entrance enhances the experience of sound and light. The versatile space features open zones and built-in seating, including a small conversation nook and a larger gathering area. Lighting elements consist of an oculus, a niche, and the window, along with an RGB system for mood adjustments. This project represents a shift in corporate design towards greater flexibility.
