Ralph Ziman Discusses Weapons of Mass Production Trilogy at Anderson Factory

A video tour was conducted at the Anderson Factory in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles on March 5, 2026, featuring artist Ralph Ziman. The South African-born multidisciplinary artist, known for politically engaged work addressing conflict and oppression, discussed his Weapons of Mass Production Trilogy. This twelve-year project, inspired by his experiences during apartheid, transforms military equipment into art to examine the global arms trade and police militarization. The interview included conversations with team members Maria Greenshields-Ziman, Cindy Schwarzstein, Paul Duran-Lemos, and Nick Bonamy. Ziman's work has been exhibited internationally at venues including The Rendon Gallery in Los Angeles and the National Gallery in Cape Town.
