Multimedia artist Rachel Rose is exhibiting a new series of 14 oil paintings titled 'Flight into Egypt' at Gladstone Gallery's Upper East Side location in New York. The exhibition runs through April 25, 2026. Known primarily for video work, Rose transitions to painting while maintaining her focus on perception, history, and emotional states. The series draws inspiration from the biblical story of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus fleeing to Egypt, but removes all human figures to concentrate on landscape and moments of rest.
