Rachel Kneebone's Surreal Porcelain Sculptures to Debut at Wallace Collection

Rachel Kneebone is set to showcase nine white ceramic sculptures at the Wallace Collection in London, in an exhibition named "Metamorphoses," which will commence on September 23 and continue until April 2027. Among the highlights are two new pieces, Bower and Temple. This installation will contrast contemporary porcelain with the museum's historic artifacts, featuring striking combinations such as Dance alongside the 17th-century Borghese Dancers and After the Dance within Baroque surroundings. The sculpture Pull will hang from the ceiling on the first-floor landing. The exhibition receives backing from White Cube, Christian Levett, and Musée FAMM. Kneebone has a deep appreciation for the Wallace Collection, renowned for its Old Masters and decorative arts, located in Hertford House, Marylebone.
