Rachael Gunning Named Fifth Provost's Fellow in Curating at The Douglas Hyde
Rachael Gunning has been appointed as the fifth Provost's Fellow in Curating at The Douglas Hyde. The fellowship, launched in 2020, gives recent Trinity College Dublin graduates a twelve-month placement inside the gallery. Fellows gain practical exposure to the organisation's day-to-day operations and programme through hands-on work and mentorship, while feeding into debates at the Gallery, Trinity College and beyond. Support for the position comes from the Office of the Provost, and the scheme is designed to cultivate new cohorts of arts professionals by offering real experience in one of Ireland's leading contemporary art spaces. Linda Doyle, Provost of Trinity College Dublin, congratulated Gunning on receiving the fellowship, saying Gunning brings great passion and creativity to the role. Gunning succeeds four previous fellows in a programme that has run since its 2020 establishment.
