RA! Designs Laiva Plaza Hotel with Layered Red Stucco Facade in San José del Cabo

Architecture firm RA! has completed Laiva Plaza Hotel, a boutique hotel in the historic center of San José del Cabo, Mexico. Developed by LAIVA, the project integrates with the urban fabric through a stepped volume featuring a rhythmic facade of red-toned stucco that references local papel picado patterns. The design creates transitional spaces between public and private areas, with a mixed-use ground floor, guest rooms on two upper levels, and a rooftop garden. The building uses interwoven walls to regulate light and ventilation while maintaining connections to street life.
