Pump.fun Token Graduation Rate Plunges 80%, Solana Fees Drop 84% as Capital Rotates to Hyperliquid Perps

Pump.fun's seven-day average token graduation rate has fallen to 0.26%, an 80% decline over three months. Daily revenue collapsed from $4.8 million to ~$800,000, with a 25% month-over-month drop between May and June 2026. The PUMP token is down 40% in six months. Solana network fees dropped from 33,000 SOL daily in January to ~5,300 SOL in June (84% decline), and SOL fell 40% from ~$145 to ~$73.50. Speculative capital is migrating to Hyperliquid perpetual futures, which posted $191 billion in 30-day volume, $61 million in fees, and $7.35 billion in open interest. HIP-3 framework launched October 13, 2025, now accounts for over 35% of Hyperliquid trading; Trade.xyz holds 90% of HIP-3 open interest and offers perps on Tesla, Apple, Nvidia, Amazon, and a synthetic Nasdaq index. HYPE hit an all-time high of $76.90 on June 16, triggering $11.5 million in short liquidations. Spot HYPE ETFs launched May 2026 attracted $172 million in net inflows. SpaceX perpetual futures alone generated $1.4 billion on June 12. Pump.fun introduced PumpSwap and social features but failed to reverse graduation rate decline.
