PUMA and NO/FAITH Studios Revive 2005 Beisser Sneaker with Contemporary Updates

PUMA has collaborated with NO/FAITH Studios to reintroduce the Beisser sneaker, originally launched in 2005. The updated version features material and visual enhancements that emphasize its sculptural and modern qualities. Key design elements include a serrated outsole with a pronounced tread, reminiscent of a large feline's jaws, which was considered futuristic in 2005 and now aligns with current trends favoring exaggerated volumes and hybrid silhouettes. NO/FAITH Studios, led by Luis Dobbelgarten, has focused on raw textures and materials to amplify the shoe's brutalist aesthetic. The upper is crafted from premium brown suede, highlighting an organic, almost animal-like appearance, while a slightly distressed sole blends industrial precision with artisanal imperfection, giving the sneaker a worn-in look. This release follows the Talon model from 2025, continuing a shared direction between the brands to explore PUMA's heritage through a radical, contemporary lens that merges sport and independent fashion.
