This artwork, part of the Albert Zuckerman collection, was previously acquired by Zuckerman in 2003 for £509,250. Strudwick, a second-generation Pre-Raphaelite artist who worked with Edward Burne-Jones, has his highest auction record with 'Summer Songs' (1901), which sold for £848,000. The Zuckerman collection also features 19 other works, including pieces by John Anster Fitzgerald and Albert Joseph Moore, which were sold on July 1.
