Portland Museum of Art Announces October Film Screenings Including Raoul Peck Documentary

The Portland Museum of Art's PMA Films program will present a series of screenings from October 8 to 19, 2025. Highlights include Raoul Peck's documentary 'Orwell: 2+2=5,' which adapts George Orwell's work with contemporary relevance, and an encore showing of 'The Last Class,' a film about educator Robert Reich. Other featured titles are 'Predators,' a documentary examining true crime media, 'The Summer Book,' an adaptation of Tove Jansson's novel, and Peter Weir's classic 'Picnic at Hanging Rock.' The schedule also includes free screenings of the Sundance Film Festival Indigenous Shorts tour on Indigenous Peoples Day. Programmer Chris Gray curated the selections, offering diverse cinematic works at the museum in Portland, Maine.
