Polar Pro's Luna Ultra ND Filters Offer Alternative to Insta360's Unavailable Stock

Polar Pro is set to release ND filter sets for the Insta360 Luna Ultra camera by late August, potentially becoming the primary option for North American users as Insta360's own filters remain largely unavailable. Insta360 launched the Luna Ultra last month but has not achieved widespread stock of its ND filter set, with no availability for reviewers at launch and continued scarcity nearly a month later. B&H Photo has not listed the filters and has no estimated arrival date. Polar Pro's design features three glass ND filters with metal frames that magnetically attach, offering ND8, ND32, and ND128, compared to Insta360's ND4, ND16, and ND32. Polar Pro also plans additional collections: Vivid (with polarizing filter), Cine (full spectrum infrared), and Vybe (three looks: CineBlack 1/4, CineGold 1/4, and Portra). The Portra filter, which promises a warm nostalgic look resembling Portra film, previously faced backlash for not resembling the film. Each set will cost $70, a $10 premium over Insta360's option. The key factor may be which company delivers first, as North American Luna Ultra owners currently cannot obtain any ND filters.
