Piaget Opens New Paris Boutique Designed by Rafael de Cárdenas

The Swiss watchmaker Piaget has opened an expanded flagship boutique in Paris at Place Vendôme, designed by architect Rafael de Cárdenas. The 1,900-square-foot space consolidates previous Paris locations and features interiors inspired by the brand's 150-year history of goldsmithing and material innovation. De Cárdenas incorporated references to Piaget's archival pieces, including the Gala watch and Décor Palace technique, while collaborating with artists like Caroline Perrin and Julien Gautier for custom installations. The boutique includes rotating contemporary art curated by Alexandra Fain of Asia NOW, reflecting Piaget's view of jewelers as artists. CEO Benjamin Comar described the store as a new chapter in the brand's creative expression.
