Philippe Starck Designs Revolutionary Reverse-Brew Espresso Machine for Delta Q with Label Brand Studio

Portuguese coffee brand Delta Q has launched RISE DELTA Q by STARCK, an innovative espresso machine that fundamentally changes traditional brewing methods. The product features a Reverse Injection System Experience (RISE) that brews coffee from bottom to top, preventing oxidation and preserving aroma and flavor. This represents the first major innovation in coffee brewing technology in 120 years. The machine was designed by renowned French industrial designer Philippe Starck, featuring a contemporary volcano-shaped appearance and manufactured entirely in Portugal. Branding and packaging for the launch were developed by Lisbon-based agency Label Brand Studio, led by Creative Director Nuno Rodrigues. The branding concept "Perfectly in Reverse" employs minimalist typographic design that reflects the reversal theme across all materials. The project aims to transform the daily coffee ritual into an extraordinary sensory experience, encouraging consumers to reconsider their perspective on both coffee and life.
