Phileas Opens 2027 Grant Applications for International Projects Featuring Austrian Artists

Phileas—The Austrian Office for Contemporary Art is now accepting applications from non-profit art organizations outside Austria for grants supporting international projects in 2027. These projects must feature Austrian or Austria-based artists and open during that year. Applications will be accepted until September 15, 2026. Over the past decade, Phileas has funded 154 projects globally, facilitating the creation of more than 270 new artworks. Museums, biennials, and art institutions are eligible to apply. The initiative aims to promote Austrian contemporary art internationally through collaborative productions.
