Philadelphia Cultural Fund and Mural Arts Slash Programs After City Budget Cuts

In the upcoming year, the Philadelphia Cultural Fund plans to decrease its grant allocations from 332 to 232, resulting in a reduction of 100 grants. Additionally, the eligibility criteria have been revised, leading to the exclusion of grants for certain midsize organizations. Mural Arts Philadelphia is also facing a budget cut of 26%. These reductions come in response to decreased funding from the city of Philadelphia.
