Personal Structures – Confluences Opens in Venice with 175 Artists and New Design Section
The eighth iteration of Personal Structures, named Confluences, is set to commence on 9 May 2026 at Palazzo Bembo, Palazzo Mora, and Marinaressa Gardens, continuing until 22 November 2026. This event, organized by the European Cultural Centre Italy, showcases 175 artists hailing from more than 40 nations. A new segment, PS Design, merges design with art and architecture. At Palazzo Mora, ORLAN will unveil We Are Inconsolable (2025–2026), while Palazzo Bembo will feature a partnership with Shueisha that highlights Hirohiko Araki's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The exhibition also presents 100 hand-embroidered panels by Palestinian women, curated by Faisal Saleh. El Salvador and Seychelles will take part in the Biennale. Admission is complimentary, with venues closed on Tuesdays.
