Pérez y Requena's New Works at TEA Tenerife Explore Urban Memory
On July 3, TEA Tenerife Espacio de las Artes will unveil 'A Parrot, Three Bars, and Gold Teeth,' showcasing sixteen newly commissioned pieces by Pérez y Requena. Co-curated by Néstor Delgado Morales and Latitudes, this exhibition explores Santa Cruz de Tenerife as a disjointed archive influenced by memory, territory, fiction, and visual culture. It reflects years of exploration and collection in the museum's current location, a site where past structures have been erased due to urban development. The exhibition will be accessible until October 18, operating from Tuesday to Sunday, including public holidays, between 10 am and 8 pm.
