Pax newsletter explores cultural tourism with audio integration and art hotel case study
Italy has taken the lead as the first nation to incorporate audio narration into its official tourism website, thanks to a partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Loquis, a platform dedicated to enhancing local territories. The initiative is spearheaded by digital entrepreneur Bruno Pellegrini. The April 17 newsletter Pax delves into cultural tourism, showcasing the Albergo Pietrasanta experience curated by collectors Rosa and Gilberto Sandretto. It acts as an observatory for territorial policies and sustainable tourism, featuring a census of small Italian islands conducted by the Sanlorenzo Foundation. Travel recommendations include Palermo's Ponte delle Teste Mozze and Norway's Trollstigen road. Milan Design Week projects aim to bridge global cultures, while Rome is offering a complimentary mini-university course on its history. Pax is curated by Livia Montagnoli and Luisa Taliento.
