Pavilion Reflection of Infinity in Gyumri Park

In Gyumri, Armenia, a new 10-square-meter pavilion named 'Reflection of Infinity' has been finalized as part of a park renovation. Architect Alberto Collet, collaborating with the MEDS (Meetings of Design Students) workshop, designed this structure to serve as an observation point directed at the Sev berd, a fort from the 19th century. Its reflective feature links the Mother Armenia statue to the fort, embodying themes of strength and resilience. The interior is finished in black, echoing the local black tuff stone. The project team comprised Liana Babayan, Har Ghazaryan, Maria Aleksandrova, and others. Collaborators included architect Vahe Buniatyan and Chip Engineering, with curation by Hadir Al Koshta. The pavilion also provides a play area for children, with photos captured by Jan von der Heyde.
