Park Young Sook and Lee Ufan Ceramic Collaborations at Pace Seoul

Pace Gallery presents 'When Form Meets Gesture,' an exhibition of ceramic works by Park Young Sook at its Seoul location from June 19 to August 14. The show spans four decades of the artist's practice, including new sculptures from this year, and highlights her long-term collaborations with Lee Ufan. Park is renowned for her Moon Jars—large, round porcelain vessels inspired by 17th-century Korean forms but exceeding two feet in height. The jars' surfaces vary from snow white to blue-tinged white due to firing. Park employs the eobdaji technique, joining two separately thrown halves.
