Paris Market Reopens with Four Fairs, Auction Revival

The Parisian art market's autumn season is marked by a fragmented landscape, with four commercial events scheduled, indicating a struggle to consolidate around a single international-level fair. Meanwhile, auction sales are regaining momentum. The 19th edition of Parcours de la Céramique et des Arts du feu will take place from September 15 to 19 at Carré Rive Gauche, celebrating its silver jubilee. A confidential event, reserved for invited guests, will be held at the Hôtel de La Trémoille just before Fine Arts Paris, featuring around twenty of the most established dealers. Fine Arts Paris continues its upscale repositioning, aiming to rebuild a major multidisciplinary salon in Paris. Additionally, the market faces a growing threat from online fraud, including hacking, identity theft, fake clients, and phishing, affecting both galleries and artists.
