Palmer Museum Archives Elsie Blue Photo Collection from 1930s Alaska
The Palmer Museum of History and Art has published a finding aid for the Elsie Blue Photo Collection, a historical archive of 446 photographs from 1936 to 1940. The collection documents the life of nurse Elsie Blue in Palmer, Alaska, and her travels throughout the territory, capturing scenes of community life, hospitals, Native culture, and landscapes.
