Palazzo Tagliaferro Presents Dual Exhibitions Exploring Human-Nature-Perception Relationships

Palazzo Tagliaferro in Andora, Italy will simultaneously open two interconnected exhibitions on April 4, 2026, both curated by Christine Enrile. The first exhibition, 'Il Regno Silenzioso – quando gli animali tornano a guardarci,' features works by Michele Liparesi and Andrea Carlo Pedrazzini at the Contemporary Culture Center. This presentation examines the boundary between humans and animals, with Liparesi's ethereal sculptures giving animals an apparition-like presence and Pedrazzini's drawings creating an iconographic universe where animal figures become symbols and narratives. The second exhibition, 'Ad Infinitum – quando la materia torna a parlarci' by Monica Gorini, will be displayed at the Museo Mineralogico Luciano Dabroi. Gorini's project focuses on stone as living matter containing memory, energy, and transformation, featuring sculptures and photographs that explore relationships between material, time, and memory. A key component is a site-specific installation designed to evolve through participatory collection of stones from Borgo Castello and Andora's cycling path, creating a sensitive geography connecting museum and territory. This evolving process will be documented online via QR codes. The exhibition also initiates an accessibility program for visually impaired visitors through workshops, multisensory experiences, and participatory performances. An opening event on April 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM will include remarks by Andora Mayor Mauro Demichelis and Cultural Deputy Mayor Daniele Martino, followed by brunch and guided visits until 6:00 PM. 'Il Regno Silenzioso' continues through June 28, 2026. These exhibitions position Palazzo Tagliaferro as a site for research connecting contemporary artistic practices with cultural heritage and local context.
