Painting the French Riviera Exhibition Announced by CMA and Royal Academy

The Royal Academy of Arts in London has announced a collaboration with the Cleveland Museum of Art for a major exhibition titled 'Painting the French Riviera.' This event will celebrate modern artistic expressions inspired by the Mediterranean coast of France, spanning from the 1870s to the 1960s. Showcasing over 120 pieces, including various forms of art such as paintings and films, the exhibition opens at the Royal Academy on October 2, 2026, and runs until January 31, 2027, before transferring to the CMA from March 14 to July 11, 2027. The display emphasizes the Riviera’s breathtaking natural beauty as an artistic muse.
