Purchased in 2012 by developer Shaari Ergas, the over 3,000-square-foot home was renovated over two years with interior designer Francis Sultana to serve as a space for collecting contemporary art. The renovation removed walls, raised doorways to 10 feet, and exposed a concrete column. The 60-foot great room features gallery-like walls and skyline views, with original toasted oak floors and plaster moldings. Artworks by Yayoi Kusama, Richard Serra, Herb Ritts, Urs Fischer, and Chantal Joffe are present but not included in the sale. The residence includes three bedrooms, four bathrooms, a marble primary bath with steam shower and antique tub, a library with gradient windows, a catering kitchen, and access to private gardens and garage parking.
