Oswaldo García Featured in 354th Installment of A View From the Easel

In the 354th edition of A View From the Easel, a series by Hyperallergic, Oswaldo García, a photographer and printmaker, is highlighted. He encountered the series' creator at the Press Play fair held at Pioneer Works in 2024. Hailing from México, García commenced his MFA studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia two years prior, utilizing the Grad Studios building. His artistic process involves collecting, drafting, researching, and printing, often during the night while balancing teaching and classes throughout the day. While he enjoys music while printing, he prefers quiet for drafting. Recently, he transitioned to a studio with reduced natural light, which he finds beneficial. Hyperallergic invites submissions from various mediums and workspaces for the series.
