Opera Gallery Launches Houston Location in River Oaks District

Opera Gallery has established a new venue in Houston's River Oaks District, opening on March 20, 2026. This marks the gallery's 14th international site, expanding into a significant U.S. collecting center. The inaugural display features a mix of modern, post-war, and contemporary artists including Claude Monet, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall, Alexander Calder, Yayoi Kusama, and Kehinde Wiley. Founded in 1994 by Gilles Dyan, the gallery aims to connect with Houston's sophisticated collector base through curated exhibitions. Directors Gregory Lahmi and Kara Przybyl McIver will oversee operations, planning several shows annually to blend historical and contemporary art.
